1. What is the maximum allowable weight for a trailer?

  • 2 axles : 24 490 Kg (54,000 lbs);  during spring thaw : 20 410 Kg (45,000 lbs).
  • 3 axles : 30 350 Kg (66,900 lbs); during spring thaw : 24 490 Kg (54,000 lbs).
  • 4 axles : 35 380 Kg (78,000 lbs); during spring thaw : 30 350 Kg (66,900 lbs).
  • straight body : 12 700 Kg (28,000 lbs); during spring thaw : 8 160 Kg (18,000 lbs).

2. What are the maximum dimensions accepted in our trucks?

  • Straight body : 230 X 249 cm (91 x 98 inches)
  • Trailer with vertical sliding doors : 236 X 259 cm (93 x 102 inches)
  • Trailer with barn doors : 249 X 274 cm (98 x 108 inches)
  • Double floor trailer : 267 cm (105 inches in height)

3. What is the maximum weight that a hydraulic lift will support?

  • Our traditional hydraulic lifts will support up to 1 590 Kg (3 500 lbs).
  • Our new hydraulic lifts on our road trains will support up to 3 400 Kg (7 500 lbs).

4. What is the maximum forklift weight?

  • 2 270 Kg (5 000 lbs)

5. Can you provide service to a city in 24 hours?

  • Delivery times are covered in the service section on our website. When looking up a city, it is important to remember that there are sometimes several different ways a city can be entered. Ex : St-Liguori, Saint-Liguori, ST-Liguori, etc.

6.  Is it possible to get proof of delivery online?

  • Obtaining proof of delivery online is part of our secure online services. If you are not already subscribed to this service, contact our Customer Service or your representative. For more information, the PDF Help Guide is available from our Customer Service.

7. Can I cancel an order that I created in error?

  • No, orders can only be cancelled by Bourret personnel. In this case, you should immediately call our Customer Service to have the order cancelled at 1-800-567-1470.

8. For a 3rd party billing, where should this be entered on the form?

  • In the section marked Third Party.

9. What should I do if I can't find a delivery address in your system?

  • It is important to enter all of the ways of writing the address as mentioned in question no. 5. If this does not work, you will be able to create the address. If any problems arise with the new address, contact our Customer Service.
