The Bourret Group is proud to have presented the 15th edition of the Des Chênes-toi Bourret race, which took place last Sunday in Drummondville. This event, which has become a must in the region, once again brought together runners of all ages and backgrounds who came to celebrate sport and community in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
This year, the race attracted more than 11,000 registered runners in various categories. Whether it was for the walk or the 1km, 2km, 5km, 10km, 21.1km, or marathon races, participants all shared a passion for challenge and solidarity. In addition to local athletes, we were pleased to welcome participants from outside the region, reflecting the growing appeal of the event.
The day began at dawn with the arrival of the first runners. The races started at 7:00 AM with the marathon and half-marathon, followed by the other events throughout the morning. The courses, carefully laid out through the streets of Drummondville, were praised for their organization.
The event was also marked by several joyful moments, especially during the 1km and 2km races, where young participants showed overwhelming enthusiasm and received well-deserved medals. The exceptional performances of some runners were also applauded by the audience.
The 15th edition of the Des Chênes-toi Bourret race was a great success, cementing its place among the major sporting events in Drummondville. The Bourret Group would like to warmly thank all the participants, volunteers, partners, spectators, and the organizing committee who helped make this day memorable. We look forward to seeing you next year for an even more festive edition.
Thank you and see you next year!
